Riders & Ribbons Academy Horse Shows and Academy Equestrian Finals
Riders & Ribbons Academy shows are horse shows for riders in lesson programs to test their skills by competing in a safe and inspiring environment. Every rider receives a ribbon.
The first show of the season is usually held in the spring in the Compeer Arena located at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, MN. Due to construction planned for the fairgrounds, Riders & Ribbons is cancelled for 2025.
Academy Equestrian Finals are held in conjunction with the Minnesota Saddlebred State Championship Horse Show.
Finals are scheduled for October at Minnesota Equestrian Center in Winona, MN.
To qualify for the finals, you must show three times in the Academy division in an MSHA-approved horse show. You must show in the the same type of class at these shows, walk & trot vs. walk/trot/canter.
